STAR WARS: Retribution

STAR WARS: Retribution

Success!
The last of the Jedi have struck a vital blow to the Empire, stealing valuable logistics data from the hidden intelligence base STATION 509 on the Outer Rim. They have also captured the wily intelligence officer TERRENCE MCFADDEN and kept him alive for questioning.

Armed with this information, resistance fighters can ambush Imperial convoys for much needed supplies, as well as find safe-havens from Imperial patrols.

The crew of the MING MENG and *Cresada's ship* now journey to the agri-cultural planet of PARANELL, where they will meet their patron, LORD MARCEDES DANDERFUL of Alderaan. There they will turn over the information for payment, and processing.

---
While in hyperspace, the Jedi question Lt. McFadden to the best of their abilities. To their knowledge, he seems to be a reluctant participant in the Empire's campaign of repression. He gives them a tale about how he served in the Clone Wars and protested against the treatment of the Jedi during Order 66. He alludes that the database aboard Station 509 contains the location of a secret Jedi prison.

He delivers the decryption algorithm for the database in exchange for freedom in exile. This is agreed too, after Lord Danderful verifies that the algorithm works.

The Bloody Wake and The Ming Meng exit hyperspace in Paranell's main orbit, and discover that the planet is now the site of a massive slave market. Because the planet is temperate and optimized for the raising of livestock, the scum of galaxy have decided to use it as a staging point for the storage and trade of sentient beings.

Akis receives a message from Lord Danderful, bidding them to land in the main city of Sydneyville. While exiting the flight terminal, Cresada encounters a slave trader and attempts to purchase some wookies, in order to free them. Unfortunately she discovers the slaves are very expensive, and is only able to free a single female, who is sent back to the Bloody Wake for extended medical treatment.

The Jedi meet up with Lord Danderful at the Mynock Tree restaurant, the most expensive establishment in the city. It resides at the top of the Sydneyville Tower, a massive 20 story tall skyscraper the overlooks the entire city. The restaurant is particularly popular with Rodian clientele. They bring along Terrence McFadden to seal the deal.

After a brief period of bargaining with Danderful, it is revealed that the meeting is a trap. Jiliac the Hutt appears, leaving a message that the Imperials have colluded with Alistair Jaxter, and traced their location by means of a homing beacon onboard the former pirate vessel, The Bloody Wake. He will profit from the Jedi's capture, using the many Rodian thugs he has planted in the restaurant.

Led by the Dark Jedi known only as Leatherface, the Imperials demand that the Jedi turn themselves over, along with Lt. McFadden. A battle ensues when the Jedi refuse. There is a massive exchange of crossfire as the Rodians and the Imperials attack the Jedi.

Fearing for his safety, Nik Var takes charge of Lt. McFadden and sends him diving for cover in the reflection pool. Akis, Raist and Kayleia fend off the Imperials while Cresada attempts blast a hole in the floor to the next level.

Realizing that fighting the combined Imperial and Hutt forces would be suicide, Nik Var completes what Cresada started. She telekinetically lifts up a bantha hide couch (along with Lord Danderful), and smashes it through to the lower level.

The Jedi land in a refresher room after crashing through the floor of the Mynock Tree, and attempt to make a hasty escape through what appears to be some kind of religious temple. They put up a barricade in the altar room as the Imperials follow in hot pursuit.

Cresada smashes a pew through one of the stained glass windows, and tosses a line down in an attempt to scale the side of the building. She and Nik Var slide down the rope and secure it, and use the Force to assist the others in coming down. They decide not to leave Danderful to his fate, despite feeling betrayed by him.

After making their way through a mid-sized paper company, the Jedi head for the garage where they steal an airspeeder truck and some swoops. The Imperials and Rodians follow on their own swoops, leading the Jedi in a hare-brained chase through the city skyways.

Using the Force, Kayleia smashes the Dark Jedi Leatherface into a fall, sending him falling to his demise. Meanwhile, she attempts to lose the remaining Imperial speeders by flying through a line of trucks carrying livestock, but only manages to cut a huge hole through the bottom of the speeder as she catches the top part of a bantha horn.

As the local police join the pursuit, Akis makes a desperate gamble by broadcasting an accusation of an attempted occupation by the Imperial forces. The ploy pays off as the independent-minded Paranellians decide to open fire on their pursuers, to 'shake off the yoke of Imperial oppression'.

Cresada quickly lands in the ensuing chaos, as armed citizenry begin to revolt against the local Imperial garrison.

The Sirius Deception

Star Wars: The Sirius Deception

The trap is sprung! RAIST DEZIEN and the crew of the Ming Meng have now taken control of the pirate vessel, the Blood Wake. After a quick battle against a group of scurvy Feeorins, Nik Var discovers that these pirates are mere soldiers in a much larger pirate fleet.

The Dread Pirate ALISTAIR JAXTER leads a group of slavers known only as the Bloody Fangs. Styled after the privateer captains of the Hyperspace Wars, this ruthless Ubese is merciless to his enemies, generous to his allies, and more vain than an Alsatian shimmer bird.

Alistair Jaxter is the key to gaining access to STATION 509. According to the Feeorins, he has a brisk slave trade deal with the Imperials. It just may be that they would give Captain Jaxter landing clearance should he show up unexpectedly asking for aid...

Discovering 'fan-film' movies that glorify his piratical exploits, former politician AKIS GORDA decides to take on the task of impersonating the Ubese pirate. After hours of reviewing terrible acting, dialogue, and plotlines, Akis is ready for his most challenging role yet: A faceless pimpernel that -only- speaks Ubese.

Better have paid attention to those subtitles..

The Bloody Wake sets course for Station 509 at the heart of Sirius IV, a gas giant covered by fierce electrical storms

The squat and angular Imperial listening post is unremarkable except for the fact that it exists in the eye of a massive, roving electrical storm. The pressures outside the safe zone are enough to crush coal into diamonds. The station itself features a standard landing platform and docking bay, along with all the usual engineering necessities. A tall dorsal fin snakes up from the station's spine, topped by an observation post made necessary by the sensor interference caused by the storm.

After making visual contact, they are hailed by the station manager, Lt. Terrence McFadden of Imperial Intelligence. When questioned as to why they should be allowed to board, Akis replies creatively in broken Ubese. He implies that they have spotted Seperatist forces in system and have captured droids aboard.

Taking the bait, Lt McFadden allows them to board. They are kept on strict watch by four stormtroopers. Akis and Kayleia are taken aside for interrogation.

Shortly after they land, Raist's crew aboard the Ming Meng makes a flyby, simulating a pirate attack. Lt. McFadden is not fooled and opens fire on the Akis and the others. The fight heats up as Cresada reveals her Jedi powers, sending the station into full alert.

The fighting is brief and intense as Nik Var quickly downs the stormtroopers with her lightsaber. Akis and Kayleia manage to lock their guards into the comm room with a blast of force energy and a melted lock.

There is a brief interlude as Akis and Raist access the station's computer systems to look for the logistical data. They realize it is located up along the dorsal station's spine, unconnected to the rest of the computer network. Their access is quickly challenged by an unknown hacker, who uses the station's facilities against them.

Raist and Kayleia race for the turbolift as Akis fights for mainframe access in the hanger comm room. Their progress is suddenly halted by a massive flying, walking tank- an Imperial space trooper. It fires an explosive missile at them, destroying their R2 unit, J4.

Quickly thinking, Akis brings down the turbolift ontop of the spacetrooper. Raist and Kayleia board one of the other turbolifts and race for the top of the station.

Uninhibited by a mere turbolift, the spacetrooper blast the turbolift into oblivion and flies through the shaft to confront Akis. He is stopped by Cresada and Nik, who have fortified a position by the comm room. Missiles fly and explosions rock the station as the spacetrooper tries to harry the Jedi. Unfortunately for him, the ceilings are low. Nik leaps up and slashes through his armored suit, and then unleashes a burst of Force-powered fire through the gash. The trooper inside is engulfed in flames, and perishes as his jetpack sends him uncontrollably careening into one of the station's many yawning abysses.

Meanwhile, Raist and Kayleia arrive at the top of the station. They are confronted by a lone man, the aging Terrence McFadden. Threatening to destroy the station with a deadman's switch if he is killed, he opens fire on the two Jedi. Raist silences him with a stun blast, and he surrenders quickly. The lieutenant is captured and placed in the brig with the pirates captured aboard the Bloody Wake.

The heroes take over the station briefly. Raist transfers the data to the ship while Cresada cases the joint for valuable goods. They come up with a small fortune in quality electronics and salvage.

Their victory is short lived as an angry Alistair Jaxter arrives on his vessel The Scarlet Masque. He demands information on his missing ship, the Bloody Wake. Akis stalls him while the station is set to blow, The crew make it out on the Bloody Wake just in time as the Scarlet Masque destroys the outpost with a devastating broadside to it's external fuel tanks.

Heavily outgunned by the modified Action IV Freighter, which was a small capital ship, Raist and the rest of the crew skim the heart of Sirius IV, where the gravity of the planet's core gives them a significant advantage. Realizing that the Masque had too large of an event horizon, Jaxter launches fighters to pursue.

Sending false sensor data, Akis manages to redirect one of the fighters into the heart of the planet, crushing it with high-pressure gravity. Nik with her sharp shooting skills, manages to down another, discouraging the other pursuers.

After clearing the planet's gravity well, the Bloody Wake makes the jump for Paranell, leaving behind a very angry pirate captain.

Station 509

Star Wars: Station 509

Imperial forces converge on ALDERAAN as word of a Jedi attack on a refugee camp spreads like wildfire. The violent evil doers are none other than the notorious criminals, NIK VAR and KAYLEIA, apparently now being led by a shadowy Bothan crimelord known as "The Straight". Bounties for the capture of this Jedi Criminal Ringleader have risen to a cool 20,000, dead or alive.

As assault shuttles deploy onto Alderaan's surface, the Jedi are bid to leave quickly by their political benefactor, Lord Marcedes Danderful. They barely have time to collect the evidence left behind by their droid assassins before departing safely into hyperspace.

Upon exiting the Alderaan system, a message from Lord Danderful appears on their consoles...

After fleeing from Alderaan, the crew of the Ming Meng was briefed on it's latest mission: to seize vital logistics information from a remote Imperial listening post. The mission was risky, the first of many actions against the new Empire.

Learning that the Imperials were working with local pirates and slavers, Cresada decided that the best idea was deception. Taking charge of the situation, she led the rest of the crew in a bait and switch- the MingMeng would fake a massive power failure, inviting pirates to attack. The crew would then ambush the boarders, taking them by surprise.

The MingMeng exited hyperspace in the Sirius system, and cut off all power and lifesupport systems. Several hours later, a pirate ship named the Bloody Wake showed up, as predicted. The Feeorin pirates were no match for the Jedi. Interrogation and the ship's logs revealed that the Bloody Wake was part of a much larger pirate armada led by the feared Ubese captain, Alastair Jaxter,

Jaxter was a vain being, and distributed a number of holotapes and documentaries featuring himself to his crew. Akis Gorda proposed a ruse in which he would impersonate the pirate captain, and demand to dock on the Imperial output for repairs. After several hours of study, the scam was ready. Taking the Bloody Wake, the crew departed for the heart of Sirius VI and the Imperial outpost..

Star Wars:Restitution

Star Wars: Restitution

The planet of CAAMAS is no longer. Fleeing from the forces of the Empire, Caamasi refugees have flooded into neighboring systems including the
planet ALDERAAN.

Close partners since their days as founders of the GALACTIC REPUBLIC, the Alderaanians welcome the refugees with open arms, as they have done with those of many other worlds during the Clone Wars.

Meanwhile, the mysterious LORD QWAKESH seeks out a single ship among the refugees of Caamas. Minutes after fleeing the planet's destruction, bounties for the renegade Jedi NIK VAR and KAYLEIA have appeared across the Holonet, along with prizes for any known associates.

The starship MING MENG hurtles toward the Alderaan system, not knowing what lies in wait for them...

***

Using their adroit piloting skills, the crew of the MING MENG exited hyperspace in between the Alderaan and Caamas systems. Floating in deep space, Akis Gorda and Nik Var dealt with the Imperial tracker droid. Using the Force, Nik sent the droid spinning through the void toward Alderaan while it shot it's tiny blasters aimlessly in retaliation. No one was hurt.

After some discussion, the heroes decided to continue to Alderaan on the advice of Captain Daytola. There, they might find those sympathetic to the Jedi cause. They briefly modified their transponder ID to change the ship's identity to "The Bothan Straight"

Using a series of precise microjumps, the Ming Meng exited orbit on the far side of Alderaan, placing the planet between them and the horde of refugees from Caamas. Receiving planetary datafeeds, they realized that a large bounty had been posted on all of them, 20,000 for the two Jedi alive, and 5,000 for the rest, dead.

Guided by planetary control, the Ming Meng landed in the Alderaanian refugee camp of Palpatine City. There they were met by Count Marcedes Danderful, a political ally of Senator Bail Organa. Danderful communicated Alderaan's interest in opposing the Empire, and promised aid in the form of military weapons and cash, in return for certain deeds done. He implied that the Jedi should investigate a certain Imperial listening post on an Outer Rim if they were looking for more of their kind.

Due to Alderaan's disarmament program in the wake of the Clone Wars, weapons on the black market were cheap and plentiful.

After purchasing equipment, including a brand new R2 Astromech unit, the heroes were suddenly ambushed by sniper fire!

Originating from a belltower atop a church converted into a warehouse, the heroes could do nothing but take cover. Cresada charged toward the church, only to stop dead in her tracks as a Droideka unit unspooled in front of her and let fly with twin repeating blaster cannons.

The shielded droid and sniper fire proved almost overwhelming for the heroes until the Bothan landed a lucky shot on the Droideka's shield generators. Taking advantage of the pause, Kayleia summoned the force and hurled the unlucky droid into a nearby community theater, destroying it and the local arts center.

Meanwhile, Nik Var snuck into the back of the church, where she was ambushed by yet another assassin droid. Equipped with vibroblades, a holographic disguiser and a silence bubble generator, the variant model Droideka Assassin was a formidable opponent, vanishing into thin air after being attacked.

The other heroes followed. Cresada leaped onto the catwalks above to take advantage of the high ground, while the others rushed to attack. They were caught off guard by the Droideka Assassin, and a unit designated HK77 emerged from the bell tower above, raining hot blaster bolts down with devastating accuracy.

Unphased by the attack, Nik Var deflected HK77's shots and cut the droid in two. The droid cursed at her in Huttese until forcibly disabled. Meanwhile, the Droideka Assassin vanished, realizing the odds had turned against it.

The heroes had an unsettling feeling that these droid assassins would not be the last bounty hunters sent after them. The unmistakably slimey hand of Hutt was involved.

POST GAME NOTES
There are several mistakes/things I overlooked during the game that you should be aware of.

-Using Move Object and Convection are sustainable as swift action. This means by spending a swift action (Every round consists of a swift action, move action and standard action), you can continue using the force power on the same target by rolling a successful Use The Force check. If you are damaged, you must roll UTF against 15+damage taken to sustain the power.
IE, if you kill someone with move object, you can continue battering his friends with the corpse. Morbid, but efficient.
-The range of Move Object is 12 squares, not 6 (See Errata)

-Move Object has maximum damage based on the size of the object thrown. That means hurling a medium sized enemy won't do more than 2d6 damage, to do 8d6 damage, you need to hit him in the face with a TIE fighter.
-This is obviously balanced by the fact that you can do it again and again, as noted above.

-Convection is by the rules, only to be used by unarmed attacks, not lightsaber attacks. I will allow it to be used for lightsaber attacks now, until such time it becomes evidently horribly too powerful. If that is so, you can switch Convection out for something else.

-Someone rolled a nat 20 on a Use The Force check. I forgot that this means all force powers you've used are automatically returned to your suite. (That means you may reuse any Force Powers you've used in a combat)

-You can spend a force point to regain a power you've already used.

-You may atone from the Darkside by spending Force Points, one for every darkside point gained. This means that using Dark-Side powers is not a certain journey to the darkside, allowing you to emulate the darker Jedi such as Mace Windu and Quinlan Vos. Killing people and similarly evil acts are generally not as easy to atone for, as generally you earn many more dark side points.

Also some advice
-One of you should name the R2 Unit and write down it's statistics. These would be under the droids section in the main book.
-Please take note of your powers, feats, and abilities, and the surrounding rules, otherwise I might overlook something, and as above, your character might wind up much weaker than it should/dead.
-Once you guys hit 5th level, you will no longer be leveling once every session. This means several things, like rationing Force Points becomes much more important.

LEVELING ADVICE
You increase according to your class:

-Hitpoints (Jedi and Soldiers 1d10+con, Scoundrels and Nobles 1d6+con, Scouts 1d8+con)
-Base Attack Bonus (Jedi and Soldiers = Level/1, Everyone Else = Level*.75 round down)
-Pick 1 Talent every odd level. If you are Force Sensitive, you may also select from the Force Talent Trees on page 101, as well as talents from your class.
-Pick 1 Bonus Feat every even level (Must be on your class list of "Bonus Feats")
***
If you are changing to a different class, IE Multiclassing:
Defenses: Lay out your class defense bonuses, and pick the highest one for each score. For example, if your are a Scoundrel/Jedi, then your total bonus to defense is
Fort +1 (Jedi +1/Scoundrel +0)
Ref +2 (Jedi +1/ Scoundrel +2)
Will +1 (Jedi +1/Scoundrel +1)

Skills: You do not gain any new trained skills, however your list of class skills expands to include the new class. You can pick up these skills with the Skill Training Feat

Starting Feats: You pick ONE starting feat from the new classes' list of starting feats

***
Also just for leveling:
Your Defense Increases by +1 Every Level
Your Skills Increase by +1 Every Even Level (Initiative is a skill)
Your Damage Increases by +1 Every Even Level
You pick a Feat every level divisible by 3 (Doesn't have to be on your Class's list of "Bonus Feats")
Increase two ability scores by +1 every 4th level. (This level!)

EQUIPMENT
Joe, you have 4,000 Credits to spend

-You may now purchase on Alderaan equipment up to Military at cost. Illegal equipment still requires blackmarket access.
-Battle Droids are Illegal on Alderaan, although you could repair the ones you destroyed.

Star Wars: The Caamas Incident

Star Wars
The Camaasi Incident

The planet of CAMAAS is doomed. The once peaceful planet is now under attack by
the GALACTIC EMPIRE, which now aims to raze the planet and all life upon it.

It is unknown why the Empire has attacked. Camaas, a pacifist planet, has had no weapons since the
earliest days of the OLD REPUBLIC. It is only known that the Empire wishes to kill all survivors and
thus leave no intact records of the event.

A secret JEDI ACADEMY hiding in IKLAS CITY has now been forced to reveal itself
in the brutal attack by the Empire. They now scatter in an attempt to escape the Emperor's servants
and aid what innocents they can....

You find yourself on the rubble strewn streets of Iklas City outside of Yarba the Hutt's palace. Just half
an hour ago these streets were teaming with people.
Your ally Cresada re-entered the collapsing palace for unknown reasons, and has now managed to escape
on the other side of the ruined fortress. Unfortunately, the columns of Imperial Stormtroopers marching
down the street shooting every living being in sight make it impossible to join up with her.

Your only hope is to flee the planet. Jedi hunters have found Master Wynn's academy and have likely
killed them all. The city spaceport is not far from here, perhaps a mile to the south. Undoubtedly it is being used
as a staging area for the Emperor's troops..

You receive several messages on your commlink. Cresada is going to join with Captain Daytola at the space port. Raists crew is under heavy attack by Imperial stormtroopers in the spaceport- they cannot get to the ship.
***
In order to avoid the Stormtrooper patrolling the streets, Nik led the others through the alleys of Iklas City, intent on heading for the spaceport.

Along the way they managed to foil the execution of a Caamasi family by an Imperial officer and a pair of stormtroopers. Raist was shot and injured in the ensuing fire fight. Angered by the Imperial's callousness, Kayleia wanted to kill the officer, but she was dissuaded by Nik , who said that was not the way of the Jedi. Instead, they left the Imperials tied up and stripped of their weapons.

The family of Caamasi, grateful for the rescue, asked one more favor, to join the Jedi and escape. Their favor was granted and they followed behind, keeping out of trouble.

***
You see that the way to the Camaasi spaceport is heavily guarded by a platoon of stormtroopers and an ATST. This normally bustling center of commerce is completely quiet. Dead Camaasi litter the parking lots, and wrecked spacecraft smoulder nearby.
***
The Jedi found the spaceport under heavy guard by Imperial forces. Deciding to take the stealthy approach, they decided to infiltrate the spaceport through the sewers. They were guided by Kayleia's extensive knowledge of Caamasi civil engineering.

Making their way to the spaceport, the Jedi eventually found their way to Raist's ship, where stormtroopers and an Imperial officer were skirmishing with his crew. When they arrived on the scene, the ship's mechanic was already critically injured by a blaster bolt to the chest.

***
As you run towards the ship, a cloaked figure igniting a lightsaber appears at the top of the hanger walls. "I sensed that only a Jedi could be here... surrender, and perhaps my master will find a use for you."
Up close you can see that the man wears a leather mask underneath his dark hood, the only distinguishing feature being two gashes in the front for eyeslits. You cannot see the color of his eyes, or the shape of his face.
***

The Jedi ambushed the stormtroopers, but were in turn ambushed by an Imperial Dark Jedi. Wielding his lightsaber with brutal efficiency, he fought Nik Var to within an inch of her life. Seeing that she was in dire straights, the ghost of her master appeared, guiding her hand, and fended off his attacks.

Seeing that their identity was revealed, Kayleia no longer felt any compunction to control herself. Releasing her hate and anger in ways long forbidden by the Jedi Order, the bookish Jedi fried the Dark Jedi pretender with a sustained burst of Sith lightning. Overwhelmed by this unexpected turn of events, he fled in fear and anger, but not before losing his hand to Nik Var. Seeing that they had no chance, the remaining stormtroopers and the officer fled.

Raist released the MingMeng's docking clamps, and led everyone into the ship for a hasty retreat.

Rutger picked up the Dark Jedi hand as a souvenir.

***
You manage a shakey takeoff from Iklas City spaceport. From the sky you can see that everything below is in ruins. Turbolasers slowly and precisely turn anything that even looks artificial into rubble. The sheer amount of energy pouring through the atmosphere sends lightning and electricity racing where there are no clouds. Soon the Empire will leave this world, leaving nothing behind but molten slag.

Your sensors pick up a pair of contacts coming in fast- V-wing fighters. Just last year,. these fighters defended the people of the Republic Now, they are killing them.
***
As the MingMeng hit the atmosphere, they were pursued by four V-Wing fighters, and attracted the unwanted attention of a Victory Star Destroyer Dark Rose. Feeling outmatched, Raist dove into the wreckage of the Fello'dine Hope, a massive research station that was Caamas' pride and jewel. They were joined suddenly by Captain Daytola in the Smiling Knife, who shot down a V-Wing from behind.

After a daring flight the the heart of the ruined station, the MingMeng was mysteriously contacted by the Dark Rose. Forcibly opening a comm channel, Admiral Feln Ducas demanded the surrender of the transport and all those aboard.

Taking control of negotiations, Rutger Hower convinced the Admiral and his Lord Qwakesh of the groups surrender. However, it was a clever ruse. Taking advantage of the Admirals helpful attitude, the Bothan downloaded an map to the station and guided the MingMeng out of the debris and into hyperspace, unmolested.

Nik, in command of the dorsal gunnery turret, left the Imperials a present in the form of a detonating fusion reactor.

The Jedi now hurtle through hyperspace to an unknown destination, safe at least, for now.

Star Wars: The Great Jedi Purge

The opening crawl and summary for our first game...

STAR WARS:
The Great Jedi Purge

It has been one year since the end of the CLONE WARS. Chancellor Palpatine has declared himself the Emperor and reformed the Galactic Republic into a new Empire.

Issuing ORDER 66, Emperor Palpatine has destroyed the Jedi Order. Once the protectors of the Republic, they now flee from those that they once protected

But all is not lost. On the pacifist planet of CAMAAS, a small band of Jedi stay hidden from the Empire, hoping to recover and strike back against the Sith...

Nik Var and Kayleia have both found the academy after many months of searching. They have been on Caamas for a week now, helping Master Florin Wynn and continuing their Jedi training. They are meeting with two Force Sensitives that may have Jedi training in an abandoned warehouse.
Raith and Cressada have been mysteriously drawn to a large abandoned warehouse on the south end of Iklas city. For weeks they have been plagued by dreams and visions. Their respective ships have been taking on jobs from a mysterious benefactor on Caamas, who has now requested to see them in order to deliver the business proposition of a lifetime.

They are greeted by the Jedi, who recruit them to join their new Academy. They are paid handsomely for this, a strange thing considering that these Jedi are supposed to be refugees..

Master Wynn set up his academy in the wake of Order 66. He was fighting in the Outer Rim when he was betrayed by the clones. He was shot and left for dead, but rescued by one of the doctors in the local militia. As a result, Florin Wynn is a scarred and weathered. He limps along with a noisy, malfunctioning cybernetic leg.

You studied in the basement of the academy, an abandoned warehouse in the industrial district. Here the academy's few students train with sticks, while a rusty looking medical droid tends to new arrivals.
***
A few days later the group was sent to pay a 'visit' to Yarba The Hutt. The fledgling gangster was unwisely attempting to blackmail the Jedi upon discovering their training facility.

After an altercation at Yarba's Bobo Cantina involving drinking games, Weequay and other frisky business, Raist managed to retrieve an access card that allowed him to pass into the upper levels of Yarba's fortress.

Within, they were greeted by an armed party of Weequay led by a human enforcer armed with a repeating blaster and clad in heavy armor. Seeking to even the odds, Cresada blasted out the lights using the force, blinding the Weequay. Yarba's thugs decided to retreat to the throne room.

With Nik and Cresada leading the way with their alien senses, everyone found themselves in the throneroom of Yarba the Hutt. He was rather amicable to bargains, and agreed to leave the Jedi alone. However, the Hutt's control was weaker than expected, and the human enforcer, revealed to be a bounty hunter, decided to take out the Jedi for his own reasons.

The ensuing fight was interrupted by a cascade of commlink alarms. Nik answered a commlink pro-offered by Yarba, Master Wynn had called, explaining that the Jedi were under attack by the Empire, and that the planet was being destroyed. He was cut off by a sinister voice explaining that he would come after 'them' next. His point was punctuated by a turbolaster blast that suddenly vaporized a pack of Weequay.

Yarba's thugs broke and ran, along with the rest of the heroes. Cresada stayed behind briefly with the Hutt, and made her escape to the north side of the fortress, where she was joined by Dax and Yarba's protocol droid. Nik, Raist and Kayleia fled to the south side, where they were met by Raist's companion, the former Imperial Senator of Bothawui, Rutger Hower.

Outside, the Empire's invasion was most apparent. Stormtroopers walked in patrols along the streets, blasting innocent Caamasi women and children. V-Wing Fighters screamed through the air, harrassing fleeing transports. The Caamasi were not being punished. They were being exterminated...
